Got this lastnight. Wow, Overclocking made easy.
Second, Autokiller (not a task killer)
Both of these helped my phone greatly... so, now this!
I ran ULV 1.2 all night last night and just about all day today. Only had just one or two minor issues, (1 is a FC on Handcent... which may or may not be attributed to this) and the second was I watched about 30 seconds of Iron Man on my phone when it rebooted on me. So, I'm trying ULV 1.15 right now. So far, no issue.
Taking the phone off the charger this AM at 6:30 AM and now checking at 3:08 PM... I have 70% battery left. So, I can tell a little bit of improvement on the battery with the ULV setting.
Let me make sure I'm following things strait here. I'm still pretty new to Android and stuff in general, so I wanna make sure I have my facts strait here:
LOWERING the voltage is better for battery life, while INCREASING the voltage will give you strong performance, even at the same CLK speeds? Is that correct? I can see why people would want to lower the voltage to help with battery, but (if I'm wrong) if the above statement isn't correct, then why would someone want to INCREASE voltage?
