eXtreme Orange for DroidX.

Must have rooted DroidX.

eXtreme Orange DX Download here.

This file has Framework.apk, Services.jar, and BlurHome.apk

You will need to download file and extract those 3 files onto the root of your SD/CARD.

If your asking yourself how do i do that. This is not for you.

We still have no recovery so you need to be very careful with this process.

After you've extracted those files open one of the terminal commands (You can find a ton of them in the market.)

Use this code to push those 3 files.

Terminal Command Code:

su
mount -o rw,remount -t ext3 /dev/block/mmcblk1p21 /system
cp /sdcard/services.jar /system/framework
cp /sdcard/BlurHome.apk /system/app
cp /sdcard/framework-res.apk /system/framework
mount -o ro,remount -t ext3 /dev/block/mmcblk1p21 /system
reboot

Wanted to let everyone know you can skip pushing the BlurHome.apk if your going to use ADW or LauncherPro.

It's really easy. But i understand what your saying. I have it working on mine 100% no problems. I also have bloat apps deleted and pushed these files with no problem.

All you have to do is extract those files to the sd card. then type code line from above boom your done.

Take your time and make sure you copy everything right.

I've had that happen to me as well. I'm not sure why it automatically reboots. It will still work fine. It will only automatically reboot for frame work tho. The other 2 files need you to actually type in the reboot command.

well what I did was after it rebooted I went back into terminal emulator and typed in the last 2 lines the remount ro line and the reboot ... didnt know if i needed them because everything was already loaded but I did it anyway then i went into root explorer and it says im mounted as ro again so i guess it all worked and it looks cool as hell I really like your notification drop down...Good Job!!!!

by the way what else are you working on? Is there anyway I can get an awesome michigan wolverines theme. Im a die hard michigan football fan and I havent found any good wallpapers, themes, live wallpapers nothing lol. Any chance at that? If not what are your others that your working on?

agreed i want to theme my phone so bad with manups, this one, or revotuion. I am doing as much as i can to the x right now that i can and is reversible until a flawless recovery comes out. I hate not having an easy way of restoring my droid x :/ one of the only things i miss from my d1
