07-28-2011 07:22 AMI sold my friend my rooted D1 and I had the same problem but he just did a factory reset thru the settings and it cleared everything and it remained rooted

07-28-2011 07:37 AMBoot into recovery and do a factory data reset. Hold x and the power button to get into recovery then scroll down and select wipe data/factory reset, and then wipe cache.

04-08-2012 02:08 PMIf you're giving the SD card with the phone then I would wipe it if I were you. That way anything you have on there will be gone too when you hand it over.

Verizon and motorola have a trade in program.... think it matters I trade it in it rooted?
