    How do you root droidx with gingerbread

    Atleast try and be helpful...

    You will have to sbf back to Froyo, use Z4 root to root your phone, install the Droid 2 bootstrap, download and install the rooted .596 files and then reboot.

    There is no easy way to do it like it used to be...

    I'm not on a dx, but i think no. You need to sbf to froyo, then install the rooted gb. I've heard gingerbreak working before on a few phones, but who knows? I would sbf

    Flash cm7.. yeah its based on froyo. But gosh darn it's radical.
