    How to uninstall OTA Gingerbread and get rooted?

    I am looking for detailed step-by-step instructions on how to uninstall the OTA Gingerbread and get rooted Gingerbread.

    How do I SBF from OTA Gingerbread to Froyo?

    I couldn't find instructions on how to do it in your link.

    Download the sbf file & flash it. That gets you back to froyo. Then you grab z4root & get rooted. Next, load Droid 2 bootstrapper and flash the files in the 596 all in one in the proper order to get rooted GB.
