About LinkBacksIs there any way to remove the camera shutter noise and focus sounds? Silent mode does not work at all it overrides it.

08-29-2010 08:44 PMYou can do it on custom roms. If it's stock and not rooted then you can't silence it.

08-29-2010 08:54 PMI'd be interested to see how you did it because it wouldn't silence on my Droid when I had it stock. Maybe the camera app is just different on the X.

08-29-2010 09:34 PMYeah I know, it's the reason I didn't get one. I was on tapatalk and it showed me the latest threads and I tapped on it without seeing it was the x section. So I posted thinking he was using a Droid, my bad. Good to know you can silence the shutter. My gf is considering one and she's not into the whole rooting and custom roms thing.
