    Question Droid brick repair

If we were to brick our phones because of the bootloader being locked, could we still use an sbf to restore and be just fine? This is really a question for me about a Droid 2, but it seems conceptually similar to me so I feel that this is a more actively hacked phone, so it would be easier to post here.

Put simply, if any phone bricks no. "Brick" has been so misused lately that it is important to clarify this. If it's a brick, that's what it is: a hunk of metal and plastic that does nothing, doesn't start, is useless.

But if it still boots, there is always hope! Especially with the .SBF file. So, if you run into a situation where things are extremely screwed up and you can't even get into the OS, but it still boots, then you can start it up in bootloader mode and flash the SBF.

Here's to hoping you're never in that situation!

Ok so just to make sure, the way that the efuse disables the phone if modifications are made CAN be repaired with an sbf?

efuse isn't used that way in the DroidX. It will not brick your phone.
