Droid X phone account supposed to be locked?

Menu -> Settings -> Accounts -> Phone (Backup Assistant) Padlocked?

Mine is locked. Is anyone else's? I saw a thread where someone belived it happened at the Verizon Store when they synced the phone for the end user. Just like they did for me with no explanations.

Could this be why contacts created on my phone seem to be invisible to all kinds of syncing?

Mine is not locked. In fact, it just pushed my contacts update about 10 minutes ago.

There is a lock on mine but the syncing is working without any issues.

Lock is on mine as well and I orderd online so has nothing to do with the store, maybe from the factory. Guessing they really want you using their program.

Mine is locked, I ordered online. I haven't had any issues with this, however, I believe it's locked simply so you can't remove this "account" from the phone as you can with others.
