Auto capitalization of "i"

Bad news guys. 2.2 Doesn't fix the i issue. You'll have to remember to capitalize it.

2.1 on the Droid it was not an issue.

Check out the "&" as well.

When you type and hit (space) one time and then type "&" and continue to type it removes the "space" and the "&" slided right next to the previously typed word.

I've noticed it does that when you type the $ too...

This pretty much drives me crazy. Maybe some people don't use those symbols (and the letter "i") very much, but I do and I think I'm going to scream!

Any chance there is a way to fix this?

I don't know if any one has suggested ultra keyboard yet...it is highly customizable...you can skin the multi touch keyboeard or you can trace(swype with it)...and you can change the color so it's not that awful color gray... the word replacement option is great, you can type in yahoo for example and it enters your entire email address. And, it capitalizes the letter "I". Just another fun app to play with, free for first 24hrs so you have time to configure and try out... no root needed 2.79 I think after 24hrs...so far the only way to get a customizable swipe keyboard.
