Any way to get album art out of the 3D galleryi

I loaded the 3D gallery apk onto my Droid x and it works great! The only problem i have is ALL of my album art is displayed. Is there any way to keep the album art out of the gallery but still display album art in doubletwist(best media player btw)

    Most likely.

Hook up your X to your computer, mass storage mode, then on your computer create a text file with nothing in it and name it:

    .nomedia

Place this text file in your album art folder on your SD card.

Gallery will ignore folders with this file, the progam should still be ok.

You can generally do this for anything the gallery picks up that you dont want it to.

I tried doing this but i get "You Must Type in a File Name" error in windows xp.

NM: I proceeded to name the file bull****.nomedia and it worked just fine

Get Astro from the market if you don't have it. Run it and hit the menu button. Select More>Preferences>Look And Feel uncheck Hide File Extensions.

Now plug your phone into your Windows machine in Mass Storage mode

Create a text file named nomedia.txt and copy it to the album art directory.

Safely remove your phone from the Windows machine and open Astro again.

Find the directory where you saved the nomedia.txt file and hold press on the file.

    Select Edit.

    Select Rename.

Now rename the file to .nomdeia and that should fix it for you!

The following also works, from the CMD prompt in the location you choose:

    copy con .nomedia
    CTRL-Z
    return

It will write then write the file out
