I have very bad flickering issue. check battery and even reset factory mode and still doing it. how can I solve this problem? Not only flickering but 60-70% screen become like black and white tv with bad signal. Btw I put screen protector also.

The screen flickering issue is becoming well-known, and I also have this issue, albeit not as bad as others but enough to warrant a replacement. Check out the following via engadget, which has videos/picture as well as links to other threads (including one describing my issue):

Yeah, thats the downside. But if you have this issue, you should probably place an order for an exchange asap because there is already a delay until 8/3, so the sooner you do it, the better. At least thats what I did. Hope it helps!

When I'm using Google Navigation while driving with my phone in the car dock and get a call (through my car's hands-free bluetooth) - The nav lady keeps talking when I answer the phone! The person on the other end can't hear me and it doesn't switch over to the phone screen like I'd expect (or some type of phone/nav screen)... Really annoying.
Not sure if this is an X specific thing or if it happens with the Droid as well?

Also, I'm using Launcher Pro (love it!) and Home Switcher... When I try to go back to the stock launcher from Launcher Pro I'm running into an issue. I use Home Switcher to make the stock launcher default and I launch the stock launcher, this part works fine and I'm able to use the stock launcher. BUT when I press the Home hardware button it reverts back to Launcher Pro!? I'm not sure if this is an LP thing or has something to do with Moto's software... Don't get me wrong, I love Launcher Pro and use it most of the time. But it would be nice to be able to use the stock home if I choose to as well...

My Droid X Problems
work email will not sync (oddly it will sync on the original Droid) All my other emails work ok, my earthlink account works good but my hotmail account sometimes works..

When i hit the phone/call icon when it displays the tabs on top when i hit the contacts tab, Poof! Nothing displays 0 contacts and screen flashed back to home screen.

The phone has deleted all my contacts once...

the whole facebook contacts sync is annoying!

seems that original droid had problems but the replacement seems to be even worse.

Though my friends with the Droid incredible and EVO have had no problems...Seems like HTC has something.

How do I turn off DLNA, every time I turn on wifi it shows up in my notication bar.

Is anyone else having problems with the voice not syncing up with the video shown? The sound is playing slower than what the video is showing. Haven't figured out what I can do to fix it.

I'd say it happens about 90% of the time.

(And the youtube videos take quite a while for them load..)

As many other have reported...I'm having issues with the Wifi connection. I can be right next to my router with the phone and it will show a very strong connection only to disconnect it seconds later. It is extremely annoying. I have bad cell reception at home, so was really hoping the Wifi on this phone would work. My router seems to be working fine, because I have no problem connecting my other Wifi devices (to include this laptop) to the internet. I've also experienced the problem on other hot-spots. If someone figures out a fix for this please post. Or if someone from Verizon or Motorola is watching...fix this PLEASE!

This evening my yahoo email began not syncing correctly and when I go to check the account details, the password field is completely full and no longer contains MY password.... have to reenter the password before it will sync correctly and I have actually had to delete the whole account once and reenter all information.... bs and frustrating, hope it gets fixed soon as it worked just fine before the update..... not completely blaming it on the update, but its the only thing that is different from yesterday to today......

While you guys talk about software I have to take my Droid X back already due to hardware. They sent me a broke as phone!! When I make calls, all I hear every time someone talks is a blown tweeter type annoying ass sound. The wifi doesn't work either!! I have to wait till they get more then I get to turn it in for a new one at the local store. I'm not to mad but it still sucks. The only cure will be if someone finds out how to root the X around the so called "eFuse" we're hearing so much about. If it doesn't get root in the next 30 days, I'm taking mine back for sure. So much for waiting up and ordering at midnight hey?

This is my 2nd phone. I hear a hissing noise in the backround when people speak. Verizon employee said it sounded fine to him. Someone else told me the same thing on their phone.
