text message and email ring tones

just got the new droid x ... is there any way we can make the ring tone notifications for texts messgs and emails ring more than just once ? ive looked through all the settings and nothing .. or is there an app that can be downloaded .. thanks for your help

Try downloading and using Handcent from the Market, it is much batter than what comes with the Droid and allows options for vibrate, sounds, etc. Email, try K-9, I am not sure about the sound options.

Another vote for Handcent. Very customizable including notifications, sounds, LED color, etc.
