    I order this two days ago from letstalk.com. It showed that it would ship on 8/27. Today I've received an email saying it is now back ordered and estimated shipping date is 9/23.
    I think letstalk.com is just using this as a promotional means, it doesn't make sense to update an order status to back ordered after the order has been accepted!

    Of course it does!

    They were probably promised a certain amount of stock by Verizon, or Motorola, or whoever, and now their supplier is pushing back the delivery date.

    It's not exactly under their control.

    I'm sure they'll let you cancel your order if you want. I've dealt with them before, they've always been AOK by me...
