    It has not been announced that it will. And with how old the device is I would say there is little to no chance we will. If you are rooted then ICS roms are a definite possibility.

    I wouldn't bet on an official OTA of ICS for the X. As stated before, given it age on the market it's doubtful this device will be supported anymore.

    As we both said it is highly unlikely. On the up side, if you do root and then by some crazy set of circumstances we do get an OTA (again I truely doubted) it is very easy to unroot.

    I wouldn't count on it. Verizon and google have both stated that the lifespan (read: update availability) of all phones is 18 months. Stupid when considering a standard contract is 24 months.
