    Update Status

    Droid X. Whenever my phone tries to update the operating system I get the message "Update Status" , "The softeare update failed!". This is because the phone is rooted.

    Not exactly... But because of root... You can change system stuff...ie... Get rid of factory bloat... That's what well prevent the update... But you can easily sbf to update

    My phone works great. I have never had any problems with it, ever. Is this something I should even mess with. Are there some "can't live without" advantages?
