    Phone not activated on vzw? Any restrictions?

    May be able to get a dx...not activated on vzw so no out going calls etc...

    I want to mess around with it like root and such...camera button is missing...

    What can and cant i do with it without vzw or a camera button? Just tryed to connect to wifi and. "Connect" was grayed out...dont know why...

    Its runnung gb and is currently unrooted

    You can root and rom without service. As far as the camera button, it is needed to select certain options in Clockwork Recovery. You might be able to remap the camera button to a different button. Try searching for that.
