    ROM Manager

I don't understand this app. Everyone gives it such good rankings, but it doesn't have any new roms on it by the look of it? For instance I purchased it, I want Cyongen ROM how do I install it with this? I don't see it available for download. Same with Liberty, and a few others.... whats the point of it or what am I doing wrong?

I am using the Droid X phone model, do I need to switch to droid X (2nd-init)??

It is really only good on locked bootloader phones if you run a 2nd init ROM

The GB version of CM7 isn't official yet. It can only be found here:
    revnumbers.info

Flash it and the Gapps using Droid 2 bootstrap. Once on CM7, do not use Droid 2 bootstrap or you will die and the universe will explode. Use ROM Manager to boot into recovery or use the reboot into recovery feature by holding the power button and selecting reboot, then recovery.

If you want to run the official version of CM7, you must sbf back to Froyo, then flash the 2nd init version of Clockwork recovery.

I recommend just flashing the GB kernel version manually. It is very nice.
