Can't hear calls through phone

Yesterday a little water splashed onto my DX. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with my problem but when I get or make a call without bluetooth or speaker I can't hear the call. Either dialing or voice. I can hear these with bluetooth or speaker phone. I also can't hear any sounds from games or other apps.

I get my ringtone alerts and vibrating buttons sounds and everything else works as well. Internet is fine, texting works.

I just can't hear phone calls/games/apps without bluetooth or speaker.

I checked settings/sound and couldn't find anything that wasn't set right. Any ideas?

Is my speaker hosed?

If you haven't already, try to reboot the phone. Mine did the exact same thing a couple of days in a row several months ago (minus the water ) A reboot fixed my problem, but if it doesn't for you then there may be something up with the speaker

I tried rebooting and even pulled the battery for a couple of hours after the water incident. It didn't help.

I was hoping that broken speaker wasn't the problem. I need the phone to work like a phone a little.

Maybe a DX2 is in my future? Haven't had this one a year yet.

If anyone else has any ideas I'd appreciate it.
