Strange thing

Something odd just happened on my DX. The phone rang once, I picked it up and I think it said Verizon on the front and then cleared. The next thing I see is the download arrow in the notification area with the download animation. It completed the download before I could check and see what was downloading. It was Google Books. It appears that Verizon pushed this app out to my phone. I have upgraded to GB and had no problems. I do own an ASUS Transformer that has a Google Books account. I wonder if this was some sort of sync type deal...???

Google Books "appeared" on my phone today also..........

Yeah, it's the first 'forced download' I've experienced. Is this the future for Google apps?
