So I have a droid x stock I want to root it and run it with all the potential it has...I just would like some help it knowing what I should do to get it to be as fast and clean running as possible...any help is greatly appreciated :)

Root it. Get a rom with the bloat removed. Then find quickclock advanced to overclock. That should get you where you want to be.
