It uses them as an antenna.A gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone.

05-06-2011 03:12 PMI know this is going to be odd but you can install Tune In Radio....there is a free version and Amazon recently was giving away the pro. It plays any radio station from anywhere from all I can tell. I listen to local stations, my former fav's in L.A. and a couple from N.Y. They are in real time with about a half a second delay from the actual radio.
Just a thought.Go to work, send your kids to school, follow fashion, act normal, walk on the pavement, watch t.v., save for your old age, obey the law, don't ask questions, and repeat after me.....I am free. -

Tune In is definitely a must have app though..IMO. Even the free version beats the hassle of messing with the built in tuner.
