    Startup scripts

    Has anyone been successful at getting scripts to run at startup on the stock ROM?

    Putting scripts in /etc/init.d works on ROMs where it was built to allow that but not stock.

    I have cron running but I can't make it run automatically at startup, I have to help it.
    I have to launch my terminal emulator to run the local_profile, and that profile runs my scripts, one of which starts cron.
