Please show me where on the forums I can learn how to delete apps from my Droid X that I do not use. I would very much appreciate it.
Totally new to forums and the Droid X.

Go to the market, click the menu button, and select "My Apps". Find the app(s) you want to uninstall in the list and click on it. When it opens up, click in the Uninstall button at the top of the screen.

Just go to ur settings click on applications and go to manage apps then u can click on that app and either force close it or uninstall it...
If you are wanting to delete some of the pre loaded apps that came with the phone from VZW, then you would have to have root to get rid of them.
Or you can just hide the ones you don't want to see by using a different launcher (like Launcher PRO) you don't need to root for that.

Now I have the Peter Frampton song "Show me the way" playing in my head.
All suggestions were good ones. Just if you root hide the apps you don't want. Download Root Explorer and just change the extensions of your apps .doc That way if you need to do an upgrade and return to stock you'll still have those apps available. Deleting them may make it difficult for you to upgrade.

Moving the apps to a different directory is much easier than renaming.
Thank you pjniez. That is just what I wanted.
Now grayzweb and others who mentioned rooting the phone. My phone is rooted with Z4. I used it to get wireless hotspot on my Droid X. That is all I have used it for. Actually a colleague did it for me so I don't know how to use the rooting to my benefit.
I must say for a nubie there is so much information that I don't know where to start. Heck I still don't know how to customize ring tones. I have tried to find a good place to start but the language is still foreign to me in the most basic forum threads. To be honest I think understanding how a forum works would also help.
Any suggestions and guidence are greatly appreaciated!

Just read. You can search for just about anything because most everything has been discussed.
I always suggest playing with the phone the first few days, pressing the menu button within the apps to see what options you have. Press and hold things on the screen to see what if any options pop up.
