Email suggestions

I always seem to have issues getting my email setup right. Im using my gmail account and i feel really dumb because i cannt seem to get emails pushed through. Im using the stock gmail app. I tried setting up my gmail theoifh the email app but it woildnt sync it kept saying error. So right now i have to manually check my email thru the gmail app. Ive tried k9 and it works but seems juice defender wont let emails be pushed so it now polls evver time i tturn the screen on and i feel like k9 is also using up my battery by polling and pushing.

Any help would be great. I just want a simple way to get my emails immediately.

Did you make sure you have sync turned on?
Menu - settings - data manager - data delivery.

You also have to make sure gmail is set to sync.
Menu - settings - accounts, choose your gmail account, make sure the email box is checked.

Yeah i cant actually get to the part that says email and corporate sync its grayed out im able to click on the social accoints but not the other.
