    Normal battery temp

    I just noticed yesterday that my battery temp was running high. When im not using my phone it would run around anywhere from 74 to 82 degrees. Yesterday it was at 89 to 92 and started to go up but obviously I was on the phone to see that. I am rooted with z4 and have dx overclocker but currently have stock settings.

    What battery temp is your droid x usually at?

    Ah ok

    much better. yea I think the battery is rated up to like 80 degrees C but I never let mine get higher than 50. make 2 set cpu profiles that crank it down to around 500 or 400 one for when cpu his 45 degrees c and one for when the battery hits 45 degrees celcius. you should be pretty safe with that.

    Your temperatures are normal, low even. my phone will break 105 under heavy use
