Verizon Backup Assistant problem

Have a problem with backup assistant. When I click on it to open it the screen flashes briefly and then returns to the home screen. Basically cannot open the program.

Have been having a lot of fun trying new rom's and experimenting with the phone over the past month. Right now it is back to stock. Don't know at which point I screwed up BUA.

Is there a way to reinstall or repair bua? I know it is not necessary and google is better and there are other ways to backup contacts, etc, etc etc. Just looking for an answer to the question if anyone has one please.

This is similar to that stupid stock battery info screen that kept closing for no reason. In order to check stats, I'd have to reboot the phone. Did you try that and then start the backup assistant?

Yes I have tried everything I could think of. Was hoping someone on here might have an answer. for now I've installed Rubix so I could get my contacts from Verizon. I guess I'll figure it out on my own or just start over from scratch.
