    Geotagging/google maps

I have geotagging turned and shows lat/long just like it should. So when I open the gallery I touch the info icon on the lower right of the photo and see location and all of the correct info. When i tap it to show on google maps it opens just fine and shows a large general area of where the photo was taken. I thought it should give you an icon on the map where it was taken. Or am I asking for too much. Thanks
