About LinkBacksSome how I managed to change my side button to launch my texting app. How do I change it back to launch the camera app?
I have had my Droid X for only two weeks.
Thanks for any help given as I am at a loss on how to undo whatever I did.

12-31-2010 05:11 PMTry turning off your X then turning it back on. If that doesn't work, you will have to do a Factory Reset (Menu, Settings, Privacy, Data Factory Reset) which will return your X to "out of the box" condition software-wise.

12-31-2010 09:22 PMlong press or short press? if it's the long press, you might try installing Button Shortcut to see if you can reset the camera button to default...

Thank you for the help! I downloaded button shortcut and fixed it. I am amazed at all the quick responses from my post. I guess there are still a few good people out there.

01-10-2011 07:44 PMWell I ended up getting a new droid x because my other one bit the dust.
Verizon told me I had too many apps loaded but I had way less than I had on my iphone. So far so good on this one.
