wifi issue

Prob a simple resolve but I cant figure it out. My wifi turns itself on throughout the day.I have to go and turn it off. I dont use wifi at all. What is making this happen and how do I keep it off for good until if I ever need to manually turn it on

That's weird. My wifistays off. Is it perhaps an app you've downloaded?

Is your toggle switch turned off? I know it seems kinda simple but I was having the issue with my droid 1. I use wifi all the time, but there is an app to download that will turn Wi-fi off as long as a recognized one is NOT present. Maybe that will help. I know with it constantly searching for Wi-fi will drain the battery rapidly.
