Best android browser?

Are you kidding?! xscope is hands down the best browser for android.

I agree with you... xScope is better than Dolphin. I've tried several browsers and xScope is my favorite. It seems to be faster than Dolphin and I like the interface better. There's less clutter and more viewing area with xScope.

just dwnloded V4.2 and seems to work fine. Am going to try and thx 4 b..ng there with answers. Hope 2 b a contrib asap, jst plain newbie 2 DX @ this point.

I take everything back I ever said bad about Dolphin hd!.

I installed the latest version last night and ran some test back to back with Xscope 6 and here were my findings.

first off,

Speed - Dolphin HD wins

Zooming and scrolling MUCH smoother with Dolphin HD, like Glass.

Formatting, sites are formatted more correctly in PC mode than Xscope, they look great and arent all jumbled up as they are in xscope, like wikipedia PC mode for instance.


Flash, Flash is working pretty amazingly in Dolphin hd over xscope,
load up youtube pc site, load the video and zoom in and out with xscope and then do the same with Dolphin, Xscopes video turns grey and zooms off the screen..

Addons, Dolphin HD has some really sweet addons, just like chrome extensions..

My only gripe is the chuncky clunky tabs, and ugly icons, but with the tab switcher addon this isnt too much of an issue.

If you hated Dolphin as much as I did try it now and put it thru its paces.. it kills xscope.

The main reason I stick with xscope is that you can swipe through pages, its not clunky, and its fast. Who needs tabs when you can swipe.

Ok I used to hate dolphin but...dolphin mini is fast and has flikie wallpapers built in. You can use volume rocker to switch tabs. Groovy. A+ in my book.

I wouldn't say it kills xscope but I do recommend if you previously disliked dolphin hd try it again.
