Is there a way to either 1) access the Android Market without signing in to Google or 2) stop the phone from syncing with Google. It's interfering with my attempts to set up a sync with Outlook.

Settings>Accounts> Select your google account and uncheck the sync buttons

Thanks Stealth. I was looking in general settings when you open gmail from the homepage.
