    personalize text tones

    the big reason i got the droid x was to personalize text tones to specific users,,,i cant figure this out. many verizon reps say it can be done, does anyone know how?? :O)

    Not sure the X stock messaging app can do it. Try handcent from the market. Lots of customization.

    I would advise you Sharetones it's awesome! It let's you customize and build your ringtone using stupid ole Ringdroids program but theirs is better because it has the fade in/ fade out feature. To me they program is the easiest "free" way to customize my ringtones for myself and my contacts. Hope that helps.
