can't connect to 3G mobile spot

I have a Droidx and not able to get on the internet through my 3G mobile hotspot. I checked the basic network information setup connections and shows that I am connected, Getting (Wep page not available)

Do you mean Another mobile hotspot or the 3G mobile hotspot on your phone?

Go To the internet and push the menu key and pick more
Chioch setting
make sure all setting are select as follows
Text Normal
Default Zoom MEDIUM
OPEN PAGE IN OVERVIEW CHECK THIS ONE
text encoding do nothing with this just leve that one along
check Block pop -up windows
check load images
check auto fit pages
uncheck landscap only display
check enabel java script
chcek Enabel plug ins
uncheck open in background
leave set home page along
check accept cookies
check remember from date

Sorry, but as far as I know, it isn't possible to connect your phone to your phone's own hotspot signal. When I start up the hotspot on the phone it explains that "3G Hotspot" is used for connecting other devices to the wi-fi signal your phone puts out. This turns off the wi-fi connection settings on my phone. Think of it this way: if another device (a laptop, for example) can connect to a wi-fi network within range, then there would be no need for the 3G hotspot to be on. If the phone's 3G hotspot would be on, there would be two networks, which would be useless.
Now of course, I don't claim to be anything near an expert on this. I don't know, maybe there is a way to bypass the system that some of the more advanced members of the forums know about, but that's all that I can think of. Sorry

If you're rooted, get Wireless Tether for Root Users. Easy peasy. I don't ever really use it, except to grab on occasional Kindle book while I'm out and about, but it does have its uses.

Bump because I never deciphered as to whether or not the OP was trying to connect his own phone to his Mobile Hot Spot, or if he was firing up the Hot Spot app and not getting a peripheral device to connect....slightly confusing thread...
