I don't have mine yet but the sides are elastic so I imagine it will fit.

Why not use the VZW case for the DX, even though it has a magnetic closure. Does't affect the DX.

This sounds great, I guess I'm not the only one who wants a holster for my DX with OB Commuter shell!

Now we just hope they don't stall on the release date like OB did.

SCF says the Droid X works OK with the Verizon holder with the magnetic flap. I have had a problem. If you place the DX in the carrier with the screen facing your body for maximum protection, the magnet in the flap turns the phone on once the flap is closed. The phone thinks it is in the Multimedia Dock since the nighttime clock is displayed. Since that particular screen does not time-out and disappear, it continues to draw down your battery.

If you reverse the phone so the screen faces out in the holder, it does not happen. However, the problem is for those using their left hand to answer a call and replace it in the holder, you'll need to flip the phone around to get the screen facing out. Not easy to do with the large DX phone without the possibility of dropping it.
