    Batteries

    Hi everyone, decided to look into getting an extra battery and a plug in battery charger for my droid x. Is it worth the extra $ to get motorola products for this, or is the generic equivalent ok . I am new at this and I don't want to ruin the phone just to save a few bucks

    dont buy them anywhere else than from VZ or motorola. 3rd party batteries wont register on the DX

    Thanks Abe-that s what I thought might happen. My husband thought we could save $. He just got a new droid global 2 when I got mine and we've spent a lot on accessories. My former phone was from the stone age, so I couldn't reuse any of the accessories. Redbert31

    I just bought an extra battery from amazon for 5 dollars. It is an official moto battery and for some reason outlasts my original battery by two hours!
