Glad to see other people submitting this stuff!
I've been working on this Green Lantern animation. I took it from the trailer and dammit removing the watermark was harder than I expected.
I made a couple of small looping animations from it just for fun. At 24 fps, they played about half speed until I added a silent audio clip. Now they are super smooth.
previews are half size

Here's some cheap boot logos to go with the cheap animations or whatever.

I took the best parts and put them together for a better animation. Again, I used a silent sound clip to speed up the animation. Read my earlier posts for more on that. I think this should play, even on droids not set up for sound. Let me know if this doesn't work for you (and read the 1st post in this thread for info on how to setup your droid for sound.) This plays stunningly awesome on my D1!
Wish I had a good sound clip to go with it. Later, I'll do an oriented version for you lucky D2/DX users who can play full screen animations at full speed. Maybe it'll look good on my D1 too.
Enjoy!
Edit: Here's the full-screen, landscape-oriented version. At 480x854, it is over 3 times the area of the regular version, and therefore tends to lag on my D1. D2/DX phones will play this almost as fast as the smaller version. This one finished in 26 seconds on my phone... though most of the lag is always at the end. The damn thing plays great all the way through, slowing down just enough to enjoy it and only lags near the end with the Green Lantern logo and flames... very nice. I recommend this version for everyone.

The most common issue,I think, is people zip their files with compression. Use 7zip and "Store" compression level. Also, make sure the last line in your description.txt has a line break after it. Just in case, your desc.txt and part folders must be in the root of your zip. All of those may give you a black screen.
Any of those fix it?

Ok I think the problem might be that I zip compressed the folder I'm using winrar. I will try 7zip, where can I get this program?

7-Zip
I'm personally just using winzip.
