Thanks bud! Speaking of, you need higher res of Starkiller or anything? I'm thinking of re-upping at least a few of my older walls to the newer HD dimensions. Plus some of the comic ones are high detail and would benefit from 1440x1280.

Anything you make I'll gladly rock, I'm on the D3 so the resolution and size is a bit bigger, but the old ones still look good.

I'm glad the older ones still look good, but I'd already made up my mind. I've uploaded 1440x1280 versions of my Starkiller and Green Lantern walls, with more to follow. I figure with the higher pixel density of newer phones, the extra pixels will look good (more than twice the total pixel information). There's also an updated widescreen of the GL one because there I had made updates to the wallpaper itself since the last upload. As usual, click on the link to my wallpaper gallery in my sig.

I've got a few new comic art wallpapers coming. That's something I've wanted to do more of since starting this thread, but they are the hardest to do, since they often require a lot of editing to look good in large scaled dimensions. This one was no exception and required more work than most of the ones I've done. I combined line art with a color image and repainted areas after scaling to help the problem areas. If only the image was landscape oriented, I'd love to have a widescreen of this. Sadly there appear to be no high quality color scans available on the web. I love the way this turned out though. Hope everyone agrees.

I finally got this wall to a point where I can call it completed, nearly a year after I first posted as a WIP. I modified the scale a bit to fit more on the screen and allow for widescreen versions. There aren't many good Thor wallpapers out there; I hope this qualifies. I'll post widescreen walls later, possibly after a little more work. Enjoy!

Here's a couple more Adam Hughes, the hard and soft covers from The Essential Wonder Woman Encyclopedia. Unfortunately, I couldn't format Hughes' hard cover to a wider resolution, so I replaced the clouds.

Here's another Adam Hughes wallpaper, Power Girl, from his variant cover of JSA Classified #1. Like the Wonder Woman cover above, the original clouds background couldn't be formatted to fit the scrollable wallpaper dimensions and had to be replaced. It's a shame I couldn't at least find a replacement more like his original.

Here's a few of my older wallpapers I've been working on scaling up from 960x854 to 1440x1280. Unfortunately, the originals were already scaled up in the first place, so I've had to find new sources and do a lot of work to improve them. Here's one of them, along with a widescreen version which really shows off the work.

This is the 30th anniv. Avengers poster (mostly) by George Perez & Tom Smith. The poster was officially reworked on the 41st anniv. and re-released with some content changes and updated colors. I started with the 30th, because there are much higher resolution scans available of it. The coloring on the 41st is so much better, though, so I reworked the older one to have the updated coloring and include some of the other changes as well. Hopefully this will not offend anybody (Mr Perez or Smith particularly) and I wont receive any hate for my efforts. I really enjoyed the results and hope to share with other fans.

I'm looking forward to redoing the JLA/Avengers #3 cover once I manage to piece together scans properly. For some reason, there's lots of warping from one to the other.

Next on my list of wallpapers to redo for HD screens is my Thor movie walls, made from the concept art of Chris Hemsworth as Thor. The walls have been reworked a bit, so they are not just scaled up.



Also, since I don't see myself working on this again, I'm including the widescreen versions, too. Enjoy!
