I have modded the framework-res.apk and put a transparent status bar and window shade for myself and thought I would share.
the file is attached. rename it from framework-res.zip to framework-res.apk and copy it to your sdcard and use busybox to copy it to your droid.
su
mount -o rw,remount /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
busybox cp -R /sdcard/framework-res.apk /system/framework
reboot



After you reboot you will need to sign back into google. Just click on the marketplace and sign back in. Latest framework-res.apk file has been modified again. The Launcher.apk is only for 2.01 and has also been modified for a more hero look. The new files are attached.
Will this work on a Motorola Milestone as well? I tried yesterday and got my phone stuck at the boot in a constant loop and was able to restore and go through EVERYTHING loading it all again, is there something I need to change for the notification bar on a milestone?
