I need help with theme from roberj13.....???

I'm trying to install the RedLINE theme from roberj13 via the rom manager.
I'm getting the pre-install options to "backup existing rom" and "wipe data & cache".
Which of these, if any or both, should i check prior to installing this rom?

Do the backup, and you can wipe cache if you want, but not data.

something isnt working

i check off the backup but not the wipe because checking that requires me to do both....

so, i just check the backup but nothing is happening....

it wont go to recovery......

That's Rom Manager at work again, serious Froyo issues, you need to flash your recovery again. I suggest: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/hac...ot-unroot.html
Option 1,2 and 3, then you can install any Rom/Theme manually.

do i need to delete rom manager before i install SPRecovery....?

You don't have to dump RM to get it to work. CW/RM is a good tool just very finicky. I would suggest doing a battery pull and reboot. Once your phone is rebooted go into RM and flash CW again (choose the top option, press on your phone and let it do its thing). Then go into the theme you want and try to download it. A couple of other things to do anytime you are using RM........ Always clear your download cache before trying to download anything. To do that go into RM > menu > clear download cache. The other trick to RM is to try to use WiFi whenever possible.
