Ahhh, why does it seem like I am the only one who hates this minimalism ship we have all jumped aboard...

You're not, IcculusX. I don't *hate* minimalist themes, but I usually prefer the darker ones like your Luna theme or Kookahdoo's Golden Elegance theme. That being said, I think this theme idea of his has real merit, and he should push forward with the idea. New ideas end up enriching all who come in contact with them.

There are few themes that I fancy, but the screenshot you posted one immediately caught my eye. Rather than minimalistic and flat (or glossy), it should go right in the direction that this screenshot is showing - something "simplistic." By sticking to minimal (especially no gloss) but then adding depth through subtle shadows (as shown right below where "A" and also the simple shadow within the contacts tab). I find a theme that does this throughout would be extremely nice. No need for eye-candy, but also, avoiding the full minimalistic look.

I hope you keep this idea going; I am definitely interested in how this will go.

I tend to agree here.

I also enjoy a darker theme. I have no need to make my phone look more professional, that's what my Blackberry is for!

That being said, I also wish I could change themes on my phone as easily as my wife changes moods. I could see me running a lighter theme, like this one, if the mood suits me.

I have been running Luna for a very long time and I love it, but we are creatures of change and sometimes need to mix things up a bit. I would really like to see this theme completed! I would run it for a bit and see how it fits.

Hey guys, sorry but for right now the project is dead.
I've got school going and I'm trying to do a lot of work for various people in order to get money for a car. Hopefully after school calms down and once I get a car I'll be able to revive this.
