Update: Theme completed! No longer a WIP

7-22-10: Changed Email notification LED to blue, changed all Email account ID colors to Blue, fixed facebook white backgrounds

7-21-10: Added phone theme, fixed Facebook & ongoing phone call notifications in status bar, added peeking droid to lockscreen
This is my attempt to make a dark blue theme to hold me over until DarkEdge comes out for Froyo. I am posting it today to get some initial feedback. I am not sure if it will work on other ROM's, but it was created from Sapphire 0.7.0, it works on 0.8.4 too.

Again, I have to give special thanks to Xeudoxus, without him this could not have happened. The rest of the Darkedge team is just as great too. though for this particular project X is the one who told me how to hex edit resources arsc and how to dedex the services.jar to edit, etc..

Care to share how to change the menu text to white? I have been looking for that..lol. love the look you got going with the blue glow.

OH, can you do me a favor and put a couple return charactors between pairs of those screen caps...your making my browser go into the next room .:-)

I gvet all that. Just wanted to know which values you specific changed in which .xml. thanks to you I got apktool working and can edit the colors and styles xml's. Did you just change the primary, secondary text colors in color.xml? If need be just PM about it.

Change occurences of text_primary_light to text_primary_dark, basically you want to invert the colors system wide. Here is how I knew what to change: I took the darkedge framework-res.apk, decompiled it and compared its xmls in the values folder to a decompiled non darkedge ese81 framework. I took those changes and made them in the froyo framework. When my apktool broke I turned to xeudoxus for help and he explained how to do it in hex.
