Creating Your Own Icon Pack?

I've been dying to just make my own icons for the phone. Obviously, I know I can use bettercut and just pick an image file and use it as an icon. However, this clutters my gallery up with icons. This leads me to my question. How do you create a launchable icon pack like those you find on the Google Market?

I've been googling this for awhile and have not really found anything. Any ideas or any websites you can guide me to that explain this?

BUMP, I would really love to know because I have some killer icon ideas that I want to share. Their is a lack of high quality icons. I just need to know how to assemble and compile the packs.

I ended up just emailing the guy on the Android Market who does it. He told me to send him the icons and he'd make it. He's slowly releasing them now. That Flurry Icon pack are icons I sent him.

I want to make my own Icon Packs but don't really want to send them to that guy. Nothing against him lol but most likely, the pack I make will be very eclectic and contain just what I need. For example, nothing twitter related because I don't use twitter. Also, if I ever decided to make a full-fledged icon pack with icons for everything I could think of, I think it'd be cool to release it on the market under my own name.

It can't be THAT hard but I've googled it to death and find others asking the question but no one knows how to package them correctly.

I'm mainly tired of having a bunch of icon files in my gallery...
