Do the signal and battery icons HAVE to be 38x38? I have some sweet ideas if I could make them WIDER. Also, I cant find the app drawer tab image. Where is that at?

Ive never tried making them wider, but it wouldn't hurt to try. I would imagine you could make them a bit wider, just backup before you try.
As stated above its /system/app/launcher.apk/res/drawable... -

06-02-2010 10:06 PMUnless I didnt do it right, the battery icons for example, cannot be wider than the stock 38x38. I will try again with ADB and push/pull a full framework-res.apk and see if it works that way. I dont think it will work, but we will see!
Anyone else tried wider icons yet? -

06-02-2010 10:19 PMBoot loop. That was when I tried to use Root Explorer to copy back over the modified framework-res.apk file from SD card to the phone.
Have not tried ADB yet. -

06-03-2010 12:26 AMOK, so this is what happened when I finally got it to apply. The new battery icons are 38 high by 76 wide. The images were scaled to fit in the given 38x38 space. DOES NOT CRASH. Just resizes. Interesting to know. Maybe an XML edit could make the allowed space wider?

So did the adb push/pull work? Did you do it in recovery or just while the phone was as normal? Thanks....

06-03-2010 09:29 AMI used the new release of Metamorph. 1.9.5.6. It worked perfectly without a hitch. Same files I tried to use before.
