Help Please! Weatherbug Elite Radar Skin?

Is there any way possible to skin the actual radar so that it is transparent?

I am talking about the widget radar that stays on your screen. Not the radar that you pull up in the menu to " Loop " and look at the forecast.

I can try it myself if someone can point me in the correct direction.

If you can send it or tell me the exact name I'll d/l it from market and try to make it transparent, no guarrenty I can get it, since I've had trouble with facebook and pandora trying it but I was able to do it on a few other's


seems to be a paid app and I dont have or use it

here's what I been doing for most I put the apk on my pc's hard drive then I use 7zip to open archive, then I look for the file maked bg or background and I open it in gimp, I know many will say use photoshop but im not very good with it.

In gimp when I load the background I just use the easer tool to erase the color they had there and that will turn it transparent, for most widgets as I seen not all.
worth a try it only takes a few seconds.
once you erase the color from the background just hit save and closeout gimp it will ask again are you sure you want to save changes say yes then push the file back on my phone to system/app then set permissions and reboot. If all went well should work the way you want.

It is the paid app of Weatherbug elite and its the radar. If you can tell me how to pull it off my phone I will try and send it to you.

I use root explorer to remove from phone and put back myself.
most likely its in data/app now but after you edit you'll want to put it in system/app

make sure to set permissions as so

then reboot

OK I dont know what I am doing Maybe I can find someone who has done this or can give me a little lesson on how to pull it and then skin it.
