Theme Programs Security Concern

Does anyone knows why it seems that all theme managers such as ahome, panda, open home, etc... they all have access to personal information, like the ability to read contact data, browser's history and bookmarks.
It just seems weird that a theme manager should have access to this types of things.... although I could be making a big deal out of nothing
I just like to keep my personal data... well... personal.
