how to theme the google search widget

Hi,

All I want to do is replace my standard Silver/White Google Search Widget with one in smoked glass. I don't want to root my phone, a Galaxy S2, in order to accomplish this. Is there nothing available to do to get a smoked glass widget? This seems like such a simple thing! In fact, I seem to recall that a smoked glass version used to be available, but no it's nowhere to be found.

I downloaded the BlackL Google Search, and it would be perfect if they didn't change the background color on searches to "BLACK" -- it's too hard to read.

Do you know of a skin I can use that does not require rooting my phone?
