Question on wallpapers

Am i missing somethin here? Every wallpaper i put on my droid isn't the quality it should be. I've tried a ton and nothing looks the way it seems that it should,i mean like the wallpapers it come with. I like putting different wallpapers on my phone,and thats about the only thing i liked about my voyager..the quality of the pics were very good. I know the screen is much larger but even the size everyone says doesn't look right.

It's the resolution. It's a huge screen. There are ones made for the Droid screen in the gallery. Droid Wallpapers - Motorola Droid Gallery - Droid Wallpapers, Droid Gallery

Well i know its a bigger resolution..but even those aren't the quality that it seems like it should be. I tried em. Bah.

Did you stretch the little box as far as it would go when your in the wall paper menu?

Yep i did. I dunno maybe the quality is normal..just seems like it should be alot better to me.

Would I resize and optimize a .jpg or something ??

I didn't want to start another topic but had a quick question about wallpapers...How do I store the saved wallpapers so that I can see them in my wallpaper gallery and scroll through them? All the saved pictures I have are in my photo gallery not the wallpaper gallery for some reason.

if you're getting the wallpapers off this forum, they're actually not the full resolution of the screen. for some odd reason, the hi-res download functionality is disabled on the wallpaper gallery. I posted a thread on this a few days ago.

when you use 960x854 for your wallpaper, it looks crystal clear.

when you use 960x854 for your wallpaper, it looks crystal clear.

I don't get this myself. I thought the Droid's resolution was 854 X 480. None of the 956X854 files work. They end up being cropped. What am I missing?
