I haven't had any widget problems with Sweeterhome in some time, other than Pure messenger not updating all the time (know app specific problem that has a work-around).

Running on Pete's latest gingerbread rom.

I have noticed one issue, and not sure if it's Sweeterhome related or not, but I get some app icons breaking. Usually I can delete them from the springboard and replace them and it works, but occasionally not.

Along those same lines, adding or moving an app in a tray sometimes adds that app to a lower level tray, eventhough I have a locked springboard layered between to prevent this sort of thing.
