help with setting new slider icons

I'm trying to make new slider icons for a theme im mixing and matching out of all the ones I have tried in the past. Im trying to do a yamaha icon for the main lock/unlock slider but cant figure out how to make the image as a png
I'd like to take the attached icon thats red and make that the silent icon. and same icon just turned blue into the unlock icon.

I really appriciate it if someone could do this for me...or at least tell me how to do it. I'm by no means a theme expect but I'm attempting

Use Photoshop, Gimp or Paint.net to open the file and save as .png file. I would use Paint.net with contrast and brightness to make a quick change to blue. Then of course make a MM of it to go to the framework.

I like how they look the same, lol. I was doing it in Paint.net to adjust the blue and bam you had yours up. Now I don't know if they are the right size for that image in the framework.

they should be 96x96 for them to fit right

those look great guys. Ill use those software you recommended today and set up a couple more sliders for the R1 logo. Thanks alot!

ok...so i'm having serious issues. I decided to see if I could even get this to work correctly....what im trying to do is get the yamaha logo to be the unlock buttons on the lock screen slider. I just went into my current theme in the framework.apk im using renamed and copied the png files exactly as the stock icons were. saved...ran MM and installed theme. it said it needed to reboot...rebooted. but it still has the stock slider icons on there....anyone know what I need to do?
