04-06-2010 03:25 PMIf you're trying to download a wallpaper ONTO your Droid from the internet, long-press (hold down for a few seconds) on the picture and select to save image.
Then, long-press on your homescreen, select wallpapers, select gallery, select that picture.
The picture will pop up with a little orange box on it. Use that to crop the picture for use as a wallpaper and apply it!Ran into a little snag? Have a question? Think your phone is only good to hold down rogue papers in a wind storm now? Visit the Rescue Squad! -

04-07-2010 05:46 PMI can download and apply wallpapers without a problem, except the end result is fuzzy. I double-checked the resolution (960 x 854). Does it matter if it's a .jpg or .png file? Also, I'm rooted, still on 2.0, using BB 1.1 with ChevyNo1 kernel. Anything else I'm missing that might make new wallpaper fuzzy?
